Dr Wong is a renal physician with clinical interests in diagnostic and interventional nephrology, glomerular and genetic kidney diseases, advanced dialysis, acute kidney injury and continuous kidney replacement therapy.
Dr Wong served as the clinical service director and patient safety officer, Division of Nephrology, National University Hospital, Singapore from 2016 to 2021. He was previously the senior consultant nephrologist at the National University Hospital, Singapore and the assistant professor at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. He won multiple institutional and national clinical quality improvement awards. He has multiple research outputs across various fields of nephrology.
He is a strong believer of reshaping future nephrology using health informatics, artificial intelligence, and precision medicine.
