- Dr Radhika Lakshmanan is a general surgeon and breast specialist with experience in providing care and management for patients with a wide spectrum of breast conditions.
- Her principal area of interest lies in breast cancer treatment, specifically aimed at improving the aesthetic outcome by using a combination of advanced oncologic and plastic surgery techniques (oncoplastic breast surgery).
- Dr Radhika has published several peer-reviewed articles and chapters on cancer-related topics, and is frequently invited to present at regional and international conferences. She was the clinical lead in surgery for Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, NTU/Imperial College of London in 2012.
- As a breast specialist and surgeon, Dr Radhika is also a keen supporter of improving breast cancer awareness in Singapore and in the region. She is a member of the Asian Breast Diseases Association and also part of the Indian Support group of the Singapore Breast Cancer Foundation.
