Dr Quan Wai Leong is a Gastroenterologist and Interventional Endoscopist, specialising in gastrointestinal conditions with routine gastroscopy and colonoscopy procedures.
His area of expertise lies in Advanced Therapeutic Endoscopical procedures such as ERCP, Cholangioscopy, Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS/FNA), luminal stricture dilation and metal stent placement, Double Balloon Enteroscopy (DBE) and various endoscopic mucosal resection techniques.
Dr Quan was formerly the director of the Endoscopy Centre and deputy chainman of the Surgical Care Committee at TTSH, where he founded the computerised simulation training service in endoscopy. He is currently a visiting consultant at TTSH and a peer reviewer for various gastroenterology journals.
