Dr Lim currently serves as a visiting senior consultant at StarMed Specialist Centre, a visiting consultant and advisor at the Department of Urology in Khoo Teck Puat Hospital, as well as the medical director of the Andrology Urology Continence Centre of Gleneagles Hospital.
Professor Lim also serves the adjunct professor (Men’s Health) at Edith Cowen University, Western Australia & Honorary Professor (Urology & Andrology), HT University Naval Medical School, Indonesia. Additionally. He has an overseas appointment as chief medical officer & chairman of the Medical Board of the Paramount Medical Centre in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
With research interests and specialities in andrology, erectile dysfunction, incontinence and general urology, Dr Lim has authored many articles published in peer-review journals and has contributed to nine previous books.
Amongst honours conferred on him are the Honorary Membership of the Institute of Urology, London (1992), the Singapore Urological Association Lectureship of the Year 2001, Honorary Membership of the Thai Urological Association 2011, and the Eminent Scientist of the Year 2003 Award from the IRPCWSC.

CLINICAL EXPERIENCE
Professor Lim graduated with an MBBS from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Singapore in 1975, and went on to obtain his Mastership in Advanced Surgery, from the same university in 1980.
From 1987 to 1988 he completed his Government of Singapore Scholarship for Advanced Urology Training at the University of Edinburgh (Western General Hospital), in the UK.
His previous positions include chief of the Department of Urology at Changi General Hospital (1997–2000) and head of the Division of Urology at Toa Payoh Hospital (1991–1997).
Professor Lim was also previously visiting consultant at the Dept of Urology of the National University Hospital of Singapore, clinical lecturer at the National University of Singapore, visiting professor for the Department of Urology, Dong-A Medical University, Korea, and is the National Representative for Singapore in the Asia-Pacific Society for Impotence Research.
