DOCTOR PROFILE

Dr Gavin Ong is a dermatologist specialising in cosmetic dermatology, and also medical skin conditions such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, skin cancers and inflammatory skin conditions.

Apart from his speciality in dermatology, Dr Ong is also trained in areas of sexual health, and the treatment of sexually transmitted infections (STI).

Previously a deputy head of the Department of STI Control, and a public health officer under the Ministry of Health, Dr Ong was actively involved in numerous public sexual health programmes and initiatives with MOH.

Dr Ong has presented and published numerous research papers in conferences and scientific journals. He has also been actively involved in medical education at Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and Duke-NUS Medical School.
