Dr Chin Koy Nam is a distinguished doctor who founded DR. K. N. Chin & Associates in the 1980s, and Balestier Medical Centre/HMI Balestier Hospital in the 1990s. Prior to joining StarMed, Dr Chin was a general practitioner with particular interest in Health Screening, Diabetes and Hypertension at Balestier Clinic & Health Screening Centre.
Besides medical practice, Dr Chin is involved with his wife and children in Health Management International Limited (HMILtd), which is a listed Singapore-based healthcare service and education provider with medical and business activities in Singapore and Malaysia.
Dr Chin is also the designated doctor of the Ministry of Health for the approval for citizenship and permanent residency in Regency Specialist Hospital, Johor and Medisave in Mahkota Medical Centre, Malaysia.
