Dr Teo Beng Tiong joined Regency Specialist Hospital since 2011 as full time consultant Neurosurgeon and spine surgeon.
He has been active in the international neurosurgical and spinal community, including European Spine Congress, International Spine Intervention Society and American Association of Neurological surgeons. He had publications in certain well known medical journal, e.g., Journal of Neurosurgery.
Throughout the past 10 years in Regency, he has been extremely active in the field of minimal invasive spine surgery and endoscopic neurosurgery. He started as a pioneer neurosurgeon in Regency, and till date has accomplished more than 2000 spine and brain procedures, and has established the hospital as the spinal referral center with his enormous experience, skillful microsurgical technique and efforts in building up the neurosurgical team.
Dr Teo conducted Regency first ever Live Case Demonstration Workshop on minimal invasive spinal surgery in 2017, which kicked start the hallmark of minimal invasive surgery in the hospital.
He is well known for his lumbar minimal invasive procedure, cervical total disc replacement and endoscopic transsphenoidal pituitary surgery in the region.
