Dr Koh Eng Thye is a Consultant Urologist with over 20 years of experience. His clinical expertise includes treating urinary tract diseases such as stones and urological cancers like prostate cancer. Dr Koh has performed over 200 radical prostatectomies (partial or full removal of the prostate), kidney cancer operations via laparoscopic methods and RIRD (Retrograde Intra-Renal Surgery) and PCNL (Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy) for the removal of urinary tract stones.
In addition to his primary field, Dr Koh is deeply passionate about the field of renal transplantation, having performed kidney transplants since 1999. He has also written a few academic papers on renal transplantation and conducted a presentation titled ‘A Chapter of Kidney Transplantation in Malaysia’ at the ASEAN Urological Meeting in Bali, 2001.
