Dr Yong Ren is an Orthopaedic surgeon well versed in general Orthopaedic procedures, as well as minimally invasive procedures and trauma surgery. His focus lies in treating traumatic injuries of both the upper and lower limbs.
Being awarded the Ministry of Health, Health and Manpower Development Plan Fellowship, Dr Yong Ren had a year of training in Pelvic trauma and spinal surgery at the Inselspital in Switzerland before serving as the Head of Orthopaedic Trauma at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital till 2019.
Dr Yong has spoken at various medical conferences including the Singhealth Annual Scientific Meeting in Singapore (2007), Asia Pacific Orthopaedic Association meeting in Seoul (2007), JPOA in Tokyo (2010), and the Duke-SGH Annual Scientific Meeting (2012).
